~ Introducing the Clan ~

The Family | Lavender & Twill

If there is one thing I’ve learnt from the time it has taken me to post these photos up is that you shouldn’t make promises on the internet that you can’t keep! I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice to say I finally got around to taking a snap to introduce you to my family like I said I would ages ago. (o⌒.⌒o)

That’s Caleb my husband on the left, Theodore our eldest son in his lap, and Isabelle, our daughter, in mine and of course, I am at the back on the right. That rounds out our small retinue of four ~ not counting the dog and the horse.

This post actually come in perfect timing as Caleb and I celebrated four years of marriage just this last weekend, the 29th of November. At the risk of sounding sappy, I am so glad to be a wife and mother, and I feel supremely blessed to have my wonderful family. Even though we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, we can still be thankful. ♡

  1. So very, very true! I've grown leery of making promises about what, and when, I'll post certain things, too - especially if other people and/or traveling are involved. Not that I'll likely ever stop doing so entirely, but I know that I've grown a lot more consciously aware of it this year than ever before.

These family photos are so heartwarmingly sweet and beautiful!

Big hugs (the first from my new computer :)),

  2. I also think that's the last time I try to say anything about when or what I'll post as well. My life is just to busy and sometimes full on crazy to be sure that I can do it. After all, babies wait for no man, but a blog can sit for ages. :P
